Evelyn D. Albu, PhD
P4S is lucky to have clinical research and medical education pioneer Evelyn Albu, PhD, serving as Senior Vice President. As one of the very first people to become involved with pharmaceutical clinical research over 30 years ago, Evelyn has helped to educate a wide variety of clinicians on a number of important advances, and continues to be an innovator in the field of clinical research and medical education. Early in her career, she created standards for the design and development of clinical trial protocols and case report forms. She has worked in clinical research from phase 2 through phase 4 studies and from design to implementation. She has developed recruitment tools for trials as well as data dissemination activities, conducted investigator meetings, and participated in all aspects of clinical research.
Evelyn brings to P4S her experience in medical writing, healthcare marketing, advertising, and medical education. She holds a PhD in microbiology from Georgetown University Medical School (with 2 years of medical school at Georgetown) and a BS in pre-med from Ohio University. Evelyn has extensive experience in a wide variety of therapeutic categories.
An undisputed expert and frequently invited lecturer and author in the field, Evelyn continues to keep up with—and help influence—the changes in regulations and guidelines that govern the field.
